Description
Woody’s Wall is an outdoor crag located in Kentucky. The climbing here is on corbin sandstone. Sandstone provides outstanding natural friction and often features pockets, edges, and face holds carved by erosion. Important: never climb on wet sandstone, as it becomes structurally weak when saturated. Wait at least 48 hours after rain. Woody’s Wall draws climbers looking to explore the crags of Kentucky. The best time to visit is spring and fall for optimal sandstone friction, avoiding summer humidity. Access notes: public.
