Washington offers diverse climbing from the granite spires of the Cascades to the basalt columns of the Columbia Basin. The west side is wet, while the east side offers drier conditions. Check local climbing forums and guidebooks for current conditions, approach details, and any seasonal closures before visiting Wankers Columns.
