Description
Foothill Crag "The Foot" is an outdoor crag located in California. The climbing here is on sandstone. Sandstone provides outstanding natural friction and often features pockets, edges, and face holds carved by erosion. Important: never climb on wet sandstone, as it becomes structurally weak when saturated. Wait at least 48 hours after rain. With 12 established routes, Foothill Crag "The Foot" provides a solid selection for visiting climbers. The best time to visit is year-round in many areas, though specific conditions vary by region and elevation. Access notes: public.
